Checklist of required documentation and information:

​

All weapon details of applied for firearm: Make, Serial number, Calibre & Model.

(please note that the model is also of the utmost importance to complete the motivation).

Copy of your ID and your full residential address with postal code

Personal contact details (Cell, Home, Work, E-mail)

Please indicate which police station serves the area that you reside and work in.

An employment confirmation letter from your company/firm written on a letterhead, stating that you are employed. If possible, please let the letter include the high-risk environment or job that your duties include.

 

The following are examples of such duties that could include situations such as:

- That you work late at night, travel alone, travel to far remote areas

- That you open/close early mornings and late nights

- That you travel with expensive equipment (laptop, spares or products)

- That you do the banking for the firm and/or pay wages

- That you travel with cash to purchase goods or spares, pay clients/suppliers with cash

- That you work in day/night shifts and/or work overtime

- If you were a victim of crime. If so, the SAPS case number and police station would be helpful.

 

- NB: Kindly note that the company that you are working for doesn’t need to know that the letter is for a firearm application. The letter is merely proof that your life is at more risk than a person that is not working. Highlighting your duties helps to prove this fact in your motivation.

- NB: If you are self-employed, please provide proof (CK/CC docs) and also include an employment confirmation letter on a letterhead stating what your duties are that could put your life at risk./ If you are self-employed and not registered, kindly provide us with an affidavit stating what you do for a living.

Please send all of the above, along with your proof of payment, to my personal assistant at vaneedend@gmail.com in order for me to complete the motivation within 3 working days. If you haven’t received your motivation within 3 working days, please contact me on my cell.

If you struggle to get through to me, kindly note that the networks are a problem with loadshedding. FAQ

1. Yes, it is advisable to print the motivation in colour, as the different colours are used to draw the examiner’s attention.

2. If your firearm has expired, you don’t need to hand it in at any police station.

3. If you have sent an e-mail, take note that we will always respond to your e-mail. If you haven’t received any response, check that the spelling of my e-mail address is correct or contact me if you haven’t received any response by the end of the day when the e-mail address has been entered correctly. (E-mails sent on a weekend, will be responded to on a Monday morning at the latest)

4. We ask that you like our Facebook page, as our way of advertising is done by word of mouth. When you like our page, your friends and family are able to see that we offer a service that you endorse. We appreciate the time taken if you do this, as this helps our business immensely.

5. If your application has been denied (which is highly unlikely), please don’t stress. Contact me with the response from the registrar and I will do your appeal for free. I have had a 100% success rate in over 19 years. Just make sure that you notify me of any reasons that the registrar may decline your application beforehand, such as when you have a firearm related criminal record.

6. If you had an unsuccessful application before with another company that did your application, don’t stress. We will help you with a professional motivation.

7. If you aren’t sure of the model of the firearm, and you are unable to identify the model, you’re welcome to send a photo of the firearm and we will happily assist you.
