I have been passionate about firearms, particularly hunting and sport shooting, for as long as I can remember, influenced by my father, a gunsmith and lifelong hunter. His enthusiasm for firearms is a legacy I carry with pride.

 

Since 2004, I have actively served in law enforcement, working in various crime prevention units and as an armourer and shooting incident investigator.

 

I am certified by SASSETA (South African Safety and Security Sector Education Training Authority) as a firearms instructor, range officer, assessor, and moderator. Since 2010, I have provided tactical and competency training to both police officers and civilians.

 

I also hold advanced certifications from the International Firearm Training Academy (ITA) and the SA Professional Firearm Trainers Council.

 

With SAPS Competency to Trade in Firearms and Ammunition (Certificate Number: C4050622), I am recognized under an accredited firearm dealer’s license.

 

As a registered firearms collector with the South African Arms and Ammunition Collectors Association (Registration Number: 1738), I focus on both restricted and ordinary firearms while maintaining my Dedicated Hunting and Sport Shooting status at an accredited association.

 

Since the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 was enacted, I have provided personalized firearm motivations, successfully completing over 15,000 applications nationwide. I am so confident in my work that I offer to handle any appeal at no charge if one of my applications is declined.
